everyday cardigan is a simple garment, knit entirely in garter stitch from side-to-side. the construction is drop-shoulder, which leaves a lot of ease in the torso, while the sleeves fit closer to the skin. it is knit flat in five separate panels, which are then seamed together. this pattern is completely size-inclusive and can be knit with any yarn and needles! simply enter your gauge and measurements into the accompanying spreadsheet, and the stitch and row counts are calculated precisely for you.

the inspiration for citrus slice was, as the name suggests, a slice of citrus fruit! the natural structure of the fruit works perfectly with the circular yoke construction of this garment. it is worked from the top down, and it ends at the natural waist for a cropped style. the citrus-like colorwork is created using duplicate stitch.

twisty mittens

i originally wanted to make mittens with columns of tiny cables. after knitting a few rounds i realized that was Not Fun, so i switched to twists. the construction of the mittens are based on circular yoke sweaters--there is no gusset, but rather the increases for the thumb are spread out within the purl ribs around the circumference creating a gradual spreading effect.

dish sponge

a sustainable crocheted sponge for all your cleaning needs! i designed this sponge to replace the green & yellow plastic ones i was always buying and then throwing away. i wanted something that was either recyclable or compostable and that would last longer than the typical disposable sponge. this sponge can be made with 100% cotton yarn and twine, which means it's not only fabric recyclable, but it's also compostable! not to mention that you can simply throw it in the washing machine and dryer to clean it every once in a while.

edelwood hat

edelwood hat takes its name from the fictional edelwood tree, an important figure in the cartoon network miniseries, over the garden wall. the irregular pattern of the ribbing is meant to resemble the exceptionally twisty bark of this tree. this hat is lightweight and perfect for autumn!
