  • Approximately 21 yards of a DK weight yarn. I used Community Garden by Brooklyn Yarn Crawl in Lemon.
  • US 4 (3.5mm) long circular needles for magic loop or DPNs
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stuffing

Rounds 1 and 2: Knit to end of round
Round 3: [Yo, k1] 5 times | 10 sts

NOTE: Knit all yo’s through back loop to twist the stitches.

Round 4: [Yo, k2] 5 times | 15 sts
Round 5: [Yo, k3] 5 times | 20 sts
Round 6: Knit to end of round
Round 7: [Yo, k4] 5 times | 25 sts
Round 8: Knit to end of round
Round 9: [Yo, k5] 5 times | 30 sts
Rounds 10 and 11: Knit to end of round
Round 12: [Yo, k6] 5 times | 35 sts
Rounds 13 – 15: Knit to end of round
Round 16: [Yo, k7] 5 times | 40 sts

NOTE: Begin stuffing lemon around here and continue adding more every few rounds.

Cut yarn and using a tapestry needle, pull through remaining stitches to secure. Weave in all ends on outside of lemon.
