Repeat Rows 5 and 6 until the long edge (with live stitches) of the bandana can wrap nearly all the way around your head, ending with a Row 5.
Cut yarn, but leave stitches on circular needle and set aside.
i-cord edge & ties
Cast on 3 stitches to DPNs and work i-cord until it measures about a foot in length (or to desired length).
With right side of main bandana stitches facing you, slip 3 i-cord stitches from DPN to left circular needle (the one that’s closest to the tail you just cut on the main bandana). Now using circular needles only:
Next Row: K2, ssk (with final i-cord stitch and first bandana stitch), slip all stitches from right needle back to left needle.
Repeat Next Row until all remaining main bandana stitches are used up and only 3 i-cord stitches remain. Work i-cord (DPNs optional) until it matches the first i-cord in length.
Cut yarn, weave in ends, and block!
